Under the direction of the President and CEO and the Executive Vice President and COO, the Vice President/Director, Business Development will manage the Business Development function of the Real Estate Division. This includes the full range of business development activities for identifying and securing housing and community development projects and new initiatives on behalf of Abode Communities.
The Vice President/Director, Business Development will bring a solid understanding of how to grow Abode Communities’ business resulting in organizational growth, including bringing a strong network of contacts to support his/her business development efforts, and will know when to enlist the collaborative energies of staff and Board colleagues. This will be a professional who is experienced with project acquisitions.
The Vice President/Director, Business Development is a creative thinker who will have multiple approaches to how business development is done and will bring an understanding of the nuances of affordable housing deal making while being sufficiently nimble to respond in the real estate market place.
The salary is commensurate with experience.
