Position Summary
Under the direction of the Property Supervisors and the Assistant Director of Property Management the Maintenance Technician is responsible for efficiently performing all general apartment and facilities maintenance and preventative maintenance and troubleshooting within A Community of Friends’ (ACOF) portfolio. This position will incorporate different trades including: electrical, plumbing, carpentry, mechanical, and painting. In collaboration with the Property Manager the Maintenance Technician will prioritize, schedule and complete tenant service request for unit repairs, general maintenance and janitorial duties according to ACOF standards. The Maintenance Technician will to interface with the 3rd party vendors’ to preserve and maintain the building and provide a quality living environment for ACOF’s tenants and working to establish a positive, productive work relationship with the community.
