WNC and Associates is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to provide support to various Project Managers in underwriting and closing equity investments on affordable housing communities throughout the nation, utilizing federal Low Income Housing Tax Credits (LIHTC).  The position will be responsible for financial and feasiblity analysis of projects, managing due diligence, preparing committee and investor packages for approval, managing third party vendors and providing support to the Underwriters in enhancing existing and new relationships with the developers and investors WNC works with.

WNC is a leading, national tax credit syndicator and family-owned business for more than 47 years, having acquired more than 1,400 properties representing over $9.5 billion in assets.  Qualifications for this position include:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office;
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage and perform multiple tasks at the same time;
  • Srong organizational skills;
  • Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills and the ability to work well with others;
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Real Estate or related field required; and
  • 2-3 years of experience in real estate or affordable housing required or Masters in related field in lieu of work experience.
